A bountiful harvest
Summer has come, and we are in the midst of the hottest part of the season here in Montana. We are not big fans of the summer heat, but there are blessings that come with summer. The garden is bursting at the seams, and the girls can hardly keep up with the harvesting. GOD has truly blessed Chanda’s garden. It has kept us busy, the girls pick daily. What is too small to pick in the evening, seems to grow overnight. When I get back to town on Friday, and Sunday, I have lots to can. We are eating our fill of the vegetables as well as already filled both freezers, so canning is now the only option for the excess. We are so happy to be getting so much, and hope to fill the pantry before the first freeze, which is only 4 short weeks away…….I haven’t had too much time to write, but I have picked out some pictures so you can see all the produce. Enjoy
