Having a heatwave……

Wasn’t it snowing last week? What happened?
This week has been in the high 70’s since sunday….. I hate the heat. I stopped in at the local carhartt store to pick up some shorts because I was absolutely dying in the heat on the drive to billings today. It was 78 deg.
It brought up all those maintenance issues I put off on the car last fall. Namely when the air conditioner belt broke in late september. Oh yea, I never got a new one….. “wilting”
Guess, that is going to be moved back on to the priority list.. pretty high, if Chanda has anything to say about it.
Ok, I know some of you out there are thinking, 78 deg, doesn’t sound too bad….. But for us it is unbearably hot. We keep our house at 58 deg, and are quite comfortable outside in the high 30’s and 40’s. So we are pretty hot now.
Nina tells us, snow may return later in the week, It’s hard to see that happening at this point, but you can always hope. I did take the plow off the truck this week, and have made plans to do the front brakes and flush the tranny on Sunday, so, it probably will snow, and with my luck, a whole heck of a lot. But not until, I get the wheels off, the tranny drained, and realize I have the wrong replacement parts..and NAPA has closed. Then the heavens will open……………..
Heat wave!!!! Indeed!!! Yo mama can tell you about a heat wave…. we’re at 90+ degrees every day… already had the AC worked on majorly (house) & so glad it malfunctioned when our highs were at 80! They’re bragging that summer weather has kicked in already. We’re to have a reprieve… 78 for a hi on Tuesday. I can’t wait! TPC has been this week and it’s been pretty brutal in the sun. No doubt about who went…. those who did look like tomatoes!

Our computers, network, & internet have all had malfunctions this week…. it’s been awful… and hard to run a business when you have only slight internet service! Dad has become quite adept at communicating with our internet service techs (a very loose description — you know.. name is Bob… speaks very limited English… & tells you the same thing to try that the last 4 techs told you that did NOT work… ) frustration mounting, yesterday they finally promise to send someone out to the house. He arrived this morning & Lo & behold! We are on line again — amazing. I intend to ask for 7 days credit on my DSL bill… not that I expect them to grant it!
Glad to see the new site. I missed the spam stuff on the old site during our “down” time. How frustrating that must have been!
I need to get back on Twitter… Nina, how about e-mailing me instructions again!
